Joyous Food Discovery with Opera!

Few days back I received an invitation from Opera Software that was hosting 'Burn! Sauté Discover!' along the "discover" theme. It said that they were organizing a #DiscoverwithOpera food bloggers meet-up inviting some of Delhi's top food bloggers at Ahoy, Delhi's brand new Oriental restaurant.
I was thrilled to see the details of the upcoming program and started looking forward to it!

Finally the day came!
I ran slightly late for the venue but made it in time to witness the introduction and launch of their new Finger-lickin' Asian cuisine.
When we entered the restaurant, we felt a very calm and refreshing aroma. The ambience of Ahoy India was remarkable, looked very elegant. Then we started the journey of Oriental food discovery just like the Opera users set out to discover content while surfing on the web. There we were introduced and asked to taste and identify various cuisines like Chinese, Japnese, Korean, Malaysian and Vietnamese.

We also met Mr. Sunil,Vice President of Opera Mini, who told us about the 'discover' feature available on opera android and Opera for Windows & Mac.That was the very uniqe feature that was to serve like a new year gift for their clients.

We had the following delectable  mouth watering oriental dishes like Chuanr Lamb Kabab from Uyghur, Thai Tofu and Bell Pepper Satay along with Uyghur DaPanji (chicken stew), Zhua Fan Lamb Pulao and Banana Spring Rolls with a vanilla ice-cream scoop & caramel sauce.

Personally I liked the most Tangjiao Soup, a lamb dumpling soup in a delicate meat broth and Toho Kawap, chicken wing kebabs infused with Xinjilang spice mix grilled over charcoal, and Sizzling Schezwan Vegetable. And of course in dessert Banana Spring Rolls with Vanilla scoop & Caramel sauce was a darling treat for my tongue. I recommend you , when you are free of mind and in moods of joy go and check out the stuff.
